DESCRIPTION

1/1800th scale Suffren Class Cruiser model. Certain elements not to scale.

There were four Suffren-class heavy cruisers built by the French in the late '20's. They featured eight eight-inch guns as their primary armament, along with eight 3.5-inch guns, other smaller antiaircraft armament, and six torpedo tubes. Three were scuttled in 1942, with one being raised by the Italians and sunk by allied bombers in 1944. The lead-ship, Suffren, was not scuttled; instead it was disarmed and interned in Egypt in 1940 and brought back into service in 1943. It was scrapped in 1947.

This is part of my collection of WWII warships, keep an eye out for more to come. If you have a specific request, message me and I'll bump it up my list.

Update 29 Oct 19: Added boats and anchor chains. Adjustments for better printability.

Tested with PLA at .1mm layer height with .4mm nozzle.
