Italian Littorio Class Battleship

Italian Littorio Class Battleship 3D print model

Description

1/1800th scale Littorio Class Battleship model. Certain elements not to scale.

The Italian Littorio class were a set of four battleships built for the Italian Navy before WWII. They were the most modern battleship used by the Italians during the war and the last Italian battleships commissioned. The Impero was never completed. Littorio, and Vittorio Veneto survived the war and awarded to the British and Americans as war prizes. The Roma was sunk by German radio guided bombs on her way to be interned in Alexandria. They featured nine sixteen inch guns, and twelve five inch guns along with a slew of anti-aircraft armament.

This model is designed and tested at 1/1800th scale, but up-scaling and down-scaling are possible. Since the model is optimized for 1/1800th scale, it is not ideal to print much larger versions due to a lack of detail. The gun barrels and mast have been enlarged.

This is part of my collection of WWII warships, keep an eye out for more to come. If you have a specific request, message me and I'll bump it up my list.

Update 13 Aug 19: Added boats and anchor chains. Adjustments for better printability.

Tested with PLA at .08mm layer height with .4mm nozzle.
