1/1800th scale Spahkreuzer Large Destroyer model. Certain elements not to scale.
The Spähkreuzer (“scout cruiser”) was a planned German reconnaissance cruiser/large destroyer design developed between 1938–1942 for use with the Kriegsmarine's Plan Z fleet. Six ships were planned and one (SP1) was laid down, but all six were cancelled before completion. The standard design carried six 150 mm guns in three twin turrets, two 88 mm anti-aircraft guns, eight 37 mm and eight 20 mm AA guns, plus ten 533 mm torpedo tubes; later design studies altered the arrangement, including a 1939 variant that removed torpedoes to carry a reconnaissance floatplane.
This is part of my collection of WWII warships, keep an eye out for more to come. If you have a specific request, message me and I'll bump it up my list.
Tested with PLA at .1mm layer height with .4mm nozzle.
