The Black Beast of Aaaaaargghh was a character in the film Monty Python and the Holy Grail. It was a gigantic animated monster living near the cave wall where the location of the grail was written. The Beast was actually green, not black. When King Arthur, his knights and Brother Maynard entered the cave and read the script, the beast appeared, attacked the knights and devoured Maynard. The knights ran away and the beast pursued them, and just when it looked like the beast is about to eat them, the beast's animator suddenly died in a heart attack, ending the life and the terror of the black beast of Aaaaargghh. The irony in the creature's title is that it's actually a hilariously ugly green monster.
