Maip microthorax was a small theropod dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, around 70 million years ago. Measuring about 2 meters (6.6 feet) in length, it was characterized by its slender build, long legs, and a relatively small, lightly-built body. Maip microthorax had sharp teeth and claws, suggesting it was a swift, agile predator or possibly an omnivore. Its fossils have been discovered in Mongolia, providing valuable insights into the diversity and adaptation of small theropods in the Cretaceous period.
