Hello everyone,
I would like to present my version of Captain Future’s Comet ship. There is no need to introduce this legendary animated series, which was broadcast in the early 1980s.
I aimed to make the spacecraft as detailed as possible, as its design in the animated series was relatively simple. I therefore added many raised details to the hull, inspired by my own imagination. The model also features an integrated lighting system using mini flashlights: five in total—one for the main body of the ship and four for the wing tips (the exact flashlight references are specified in the included instruction manual).
The model is fully articulated so it can be displayed in its ground configuration: the wings are adjustable, the front solar panels are foldable, the fins are retractable, and a deployable telescopic access ramp is included. When printed at 100% scale, the model measures 90 cm in length. It comes with display mounts allowing it to be placed on a shelf or hung on a wall (see photos).
As with my other kit models, if you print the parts in the correct colors or paint them before assembly, there is no need to be a painting expert to achieve a result similar to mine. The model is supplied with a detailed instruction manual covering all assembly steps as well as the recommended filament colors.
Of course, I remain available to provide support if needed.
Happy printing to everyone!
