DESCRIPTION

This is a remix so that this lamp can be fully printed and assembled with a grand total of two printed parts and one off the shelf light cord with no wiring or anything. I have nothing in particular against wiring, per se, but in the age of fully molded components it doesn't seem particularly necessary.

I used the defaults to print everything, and it worked great, as pictured. The honeycomb part took over 24 hours, your mileage may vary.

The base is designed to accommodate little stick-on pads, if you're worried about scratching things up, or just like things to stay put. The model is upside down relative to how you probably want to print it, it should print easily with no supports needed. OpenSCAD file included should you wish to go a little nuts, and are willing to be generous with the way I whanged together the code.

The shade is almost identical to that from which it was remixed, except the hole has been made smaller so the fixture (linked above) will screw down and fit the two parts together.
