A housing that mimics an anchor for covering a hookah bowl.
Manufactured to the dimensions of the factory bowl.
A low-poly model is included so you can adjust the topology to your specifications.
After resizing or before printing, enable anti-aliasing in 3D Max or Blender. (In 3D Max, use the Smooth by group checkbox when enabling anti-aliasing.) Also, dont exceed 4 iterations.Note: When exporting from Blender, use a scale of 1000, as the model is in mm.
The concept of the model involves gluing the anchor horns into one of the halves. Also, consider the convenient placement of neodymium magnets to hold the halves of the model together. Dont forget to include a plastic insert at the bottom of the model.The top of the anchor has recesses to easily separate the halves held by magnets.
Hookah pipes are typically collapsible. This was taken into account when creating the top half of the model. The diameter of the tube hole is 16 mm. Please note that the top half of the model has holes for engagement with the side parts.
The models dimensions are suitable for the Elego Neptune 3 Plus.
The side half is printed diagonally. The model must be positioned precisely.
/Update/ An alternative printing option for the top part (part name: Top_v2) and (Yoke_v2).
This reduces the support threads and improves the printing of the mating joint.
After printing, glue both parts together and secure them with screws for additional strength.Happy assembly!
