I designed this because the original part was too weak as a 3D printed part, it wasnt exactly strong as a factory part but i wanted something that was adjustable and looked right too. There are 2 versions included here, a Carbon Fibre one which can be cut with a CNC router and a plastic 3D printable one that is slightly thicker but will realistically require bracing. For the carbon one, establish the correct way round for part 3 to join to part 2, should be fairly obvious as the opening in part 3 is slightly offset then glue the two pieces together with a little clear gorilla glue. Put together with some M3 machine screws and nuts and youre done. The carbon wing stay base is designed to be 3D printed and the carbon parts screw to it. In a rollover this plastic part will hopefully break before the shock tower does so that damage is kept to a minimum on more expensive and harder to replace parts. The plastic 3D printable one.... I braced it with two centre bars, it should be a gap of approximately 36-38mm. I used what I had in my toolbox which was four 18mm standoffs, joined with 10mm M3 grub screws in the middle. Maybe would be better with a 34-36mm standoff and 1mm washers either end though.Ive only just finished the plastic version so this was made after my Youtube video that accompanies these Lazer files but there is mention of the Carbon one in there - https://youtu.be/A3WvQG3Msh0?si=osWnvfyYB94u8PTG
