This is a 3D printable injection mold for producing soft plastic lures inspired by the legendary Fox Rage Pro Grub Loaded — a pre-rigged curly tail grub designed for predator fishing over weed, shallow venues, or higher in the water column. The mold features a single cavity and is optimized for FDM printing (Bambu Lab, Prusa, Creality, etc.), while also being compatible with SLA/DLP resin printers.

The Pro Grub Loaded is renowned for its irresistible curly tail action that triggers bites even at very slow retrieve speeds. The soft, durable PVC body is precisely molded with a distinctive ribbed profile and a large comma-shaped tail. Note: This master model recreates the soft plastic body only — the original comes pre-rigged with a 50lb wire harness and treble hooks, which are not included in the mold.

FDM Printing Recommendations:

Layer height: 0.08mm maximum for best surface quality and detail reproduction

For large models (over 5 inches / 125mm):

Wall loops (perimeters): 12–15 lines

Top solid layers: 10 layers

Bottom solid layers: 10 layers

Infill density: 10–20% (adjust as needed for strength vs. material usage)

Recommended orientation: cavity side up for best surface quality

Can be printed without supports or with minimal supports depending on orientation

For best results, print with a brim or raft to improve bed adhesion
