DESCRIPTION

Solid State - Rim Driven - Helium Filled - Inverted Rotor - Concept.

The rotors are inverted inwards, in the negative space of the rotor, this is where the blue air is sucked in and pushed through. The purple parts of the rotor are actually Helium filled, ultra light spinning containers, helping in total mass reduction for the thrusters. The outer Casings look good in Aluminium but it could all be 3D printed in these modern times. If you mirror the rotor parts, you will have no rotor drift, when 4 are used, or 8, or 16. if half turn the other way by design, there will be no drift but balanced output.

i have not modelled in the induction coils nor magnets on the stator to make it actually rim driven, as it is more about the ultra light mass reduction of the engine or thruster concept. it could always be further modified, like adding a shaft through, as i have supplied the original 3Dsmax drawings as well.

The package is 7 original parts, all you see can be printed many times, all parts fit eachother perfectly for assembly.could try to fill with water or any other fluid or substance for further experimentation. Helium just helps reduce total mass. One is a doubled version, perfectly symmetrical, and the other one is more of a jet type thruster design, that could also be doubled by printing parts twice.
