DESCRIPTION

A collegue needed a steering adapter for his Minn Kota electric boat motor to yamaha steering assembly. So i made this adapter. the first version of the concept was made by my collegue in paper and also worked for his motor.

It is important you follow my print instructions:

printmaterial: i used PETG (ABS is also good)

infill: now here is where it get's specifiec. on the part where the adapter go's in i advise a infill of 70% and in the back where you will mount a screw you should use a infill of 90%. the rest should be fine with 35-40%.

rotation: look at the image for the good rotation.

Extra advise: its a long print use a warm room without cold airflow. Either that or use an enclosed printer to prevent warping or failure.

support: yes

gluestick: yes (if your petg doesnt stick really well)

brim: i didnt use one

layer height: 0.30mm

print time 13,40 hours.

happy printing and let me know how it turned out!
