DESCRIPTION

The Swedish Bofors anti-aircraft gun was developed in the late 1920s. Both the British and US used them on land and at sea. The practical rate of fire is generally listed as 120 round per minute. Naval configurations included twin and quad setups. The 40mm shells weighed 4,8 lbs and were 17,6 inches long. The overall length was 17 feet. This model is set at 1 in 33 scale. The barrel muzzle only has a slight indentation because otherwise it doesn't print well. If so desired it can be drilled out after printing.Parts are joined by sprigs that need to be cut off (AND FILED MAYBE) and then they can be assembled into indentations provided for them. Some parts are orientated upside down so that less supports are needed during printing.
