VAB MK 3 is a new family of 6x6 medium weight armoured vehicles offering very high level performance in terms of mobility, protection and payload.

The Anoa 3 6x6 Armored Vehicle (Ranpur) is a strategic collaboration with Arquus—a French defense industry partner. This vehicle is also an upgraded Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) designed to meet Indonesia's Defense and Security needs. The collaborative Ranpur between Pindad and Arquus is a modern, NATO-standard combat vehicle that is continuously being improved to better address the operational requirements of operators in the battlefield.

The Anoa 3 is a vehicle that possesses agile maneuverability and can be used for cruising in all terrains. Featuring superior quality protection systems, the Anoa 3 is an excellent choice as a combat vehicle with APC or IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle) functions. The design of the Anoa 3 vehicle is compact and adaptable to various battlefields, and it has reconnaissance capabilities.

PT Pindad held a demonstration of its latest Armored Vehicle (Ranpur), the Anoa 3, which was witnessed firsthand by PT Pindad's Echelon I officials, consisting of VP of Business Development Yayat Ruyat, VP of Innovation Windu Paramartha, VP of PM & K3LH Prima Kharisma, and representatives from TNI units including the Army Infantry Center (Pussenif), Army Cavalry Center (Pussenkav), Army Equipment Center (Puspalad), Army Planning and Budget Staff (Srenad), Army Logistics Staff (Slogad), and Army Operations Staff (Sopsad). The demonstration took place on Friday, January 27, 2023, at the PT Pindad Vehicle Testing Facility in Bandung. The Anoa 3 was previously introduced at the Indo Defence 2022 Expo & Forum held at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, which ran from November 2–5, 2022.
