I was doing a scenic part of my local model railway club and needed a Lych Gate for the Church scene, so I looked around for a design that was good to look at and fairly robust when printed.
It is mostly based around the Lych gate for the Church in Charlton All Saints and St Nicholas - Kings Norton, but with a few changes to make it a little stronger.
This item has been designed at OO gauge, 1/76.2 scale. For HO Gauge print at 87%, 1/87 Scale,For O Gauge UK print at 175%, 1/43.5 scale,For O Gauge International print at 158%, 1/48 scale,For TT Gauge print at 63.5%, 1/120 scale, for N Gauge UK print at 51.5%, 1/148 Scale, (Caution: I have not test printed this in N gauge scale).
This example in the pictures were printed on an AnyCubic Proton M3 3D resin printer.I recommend printing these on a 3D resin printer to get the best print definition. As per normal with my designs, there is a balance between accuracy and printability, hopefully not affecting the look of the model too much.
I use AnyCubic Water Washable Resin for most of my items but use AnyCubic ABS Like Resin for anything that needs to be stronger and tougher.
