DESCRIPTION

Hi everyone!

This is an interesting 2-in-1 mould design. It is an apollo model that makes a comfortable silicone rubber broom/rake/mop handle.See the video of the design and build here - https://youtu.be/x_w8o-u4QrI

All the pieces will print without supports. To make a Broom buddy, follow these steps after printing the mould:

1 - Mix up a batch of proto-putty (silicone with food coloring as a curing agent and corn starch as a filler/anti-sticky....stuff) See Grant Thompson's video on how to make proto-putty here - https://youtu.be/7fwytA5r2Mw

2 - Roll the proto-putty into a blob the size of the mould cavity. Place it in the mould, avoiding getting it between the mating surfaces.

3- Assemble the mould and fit the alignment ring and cap.

3 - Locate and push the plunger all the way in. Do not block the vent holes. Excess putty should ooze out of the holes.

4 - wait 20-30 min and dissasemble. A flat screwdriver may be necessary.

---Voilla!, a Broom buddy!---
