DESCRIPTION

Polarized Dual Transistor Pair - Modular P - Uni-Drain - Concept.

Short description: Two similar Transistors, mirrored AND twisted 90 degrees in orientation, sharing a single drain channel between them. [perhaps shorter distances, more efficient].One transistor of a pair, say the Top one, will function and fire along the X-Axis, while the bottom Transistor fires across the Y-Axis, the signals should both be able to freely pass each other, sharing the same drain channel, hopefully without interference through the 90 degree angle between the signal paths, and saving material and precious space at the same time. Both 2D transistor layers, together with a center layer, the substrate, can be mathematically repeated and scaled to our ability.

If we manage to split the Source and Drain in two perfect halves, and insulate with a rib or fin in between them, we could have a Dual channel, Quad channel, or even Octo channel Modular Transistor Tiles, depending on if we go back and forth, and use twisted pairs or not. depending on absolute timing to minimize or rule out interference when one cardinal direction signal is passing the gate.

Now we can create a pattern of pairs, form a polarized matrix, these tiles we will also twist 90 degrees, before connecting, to allow for more transistor pairs to fit and take up the same physical space. See examples of how the pattern would look, it would create draining channels, matching the 2 or 4 real world cardinal directions, across an entire 2D flat wafer surface. There is a lot to be invented and improved upon and still available to discover. The eyes must be pleased as well as the mind. The dual transistor pair reminds me of an hourglass construction, as well as looking like a 3D Mondriaan painting. Science is art, art is science.

Exported in 3 formats, simple 3d printable design, the design was more about he concept than the actual 3d printing. But if you printed it bigger, as a tile, or material to your own printer scale, or cut it from good functioning conductive and dielectric insulating substrate materials, you could do a super cool science project with a larger than life, real functioning single micro transistor, but bigger, table top sized. Model now a lot smaller than 15 cm. could be a very nice demonstration device for teaching purposes.

Have a great day, like and subscribe.
