Important Installation Notes

Every broken gear selector fails slightly differently. Depending on how your original part snapped, you may need to lightly sand or trim the remaining plastic on the original component to achieve the best fit.

Take your time during installation:

-Remove any loose or jagged plastic from the broken area.-Test-fit the printed part before final installation.-Light sanding of either the original part or the printed component may be required to achieve a perfect fit.-Do not force the part into place.-A few minutes of careful fitting can make the repair stronger and ensure smooth operation.

Printing Recommendations

-Material: PETG, ABS, ASA, or Nylon recommended-PLA can be used for testing but is not recommended for long-term use, especially in hot climates.-Layer Height: 0.20 mm-4–6 Perimeters-40–60% Gyroid or Cubic infill
