DESCRIPTION

Articulated model of axolotl or Mexican axolotl, with 22 joints for greater mobility of its components. The axolotl is a species of ambistomatid caudate amphibian of the genus Ambystoma related to the tiger salamander. It was originally described by George Kearsley Shaw and Frederick Polydore Nodder under the synonym Gyrinus mexicanus.
