BALD TOM:Thomas Tom Cat, better known as Tom (or also Tom the Cat), is the protagonist of the animated classic Tom and Jerry, by Metro Goldwyn Mayer and Hanna-Barbera. Created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, he is a mostly mute, blue-gray and white short-haired domestic cat who first appeared in the 1940 MGM animated short, Puss Gets the Boot.His name, Tom Cat, is based on tomcat, a phrase referring to male cats.
