Stargate Horus Cosplay Headpiece

Stargate Horus Cosplay Headpiece 3D print model

Description

-------WITHOUT COWL ONLY HEADPIECE-------

the cowl piece can be used from either the Anubis model on my models, or the Jaffa Cowl. i am uploading it like this so people who bought the anubis model can buy just this head and use the cowl from anubis.

2 side print

while printing it sliced as two pieces, be weary that flat sides on the beak get low res in print( i printed it in 0.3 layer height and noticed large layers) consider adjusting the print height in those layers, or filling them out after print.

ive added in model supports and additional geometry to thin pieces to help with stability and adhesion. the supports allow you to print without adding infil or supports, while the extra geometry will help the thin pieces from warping. it is currently very cold in my printer room, and the thin parts such as the end of the beak warped.( i am not using a heatbed, so that might help)

single piece

i also added the final model if you would prefer to print it as a single piece.

the eye pieces need to be printed in two, and the eye hole can be drilled to add a light. the eye model consists of two meshes, one big one connects the the faceplate, while the other best printed in transperant filament goes on top of it. i have left room in there for a led diode which can be placed and connected.

Edit - (9.1.2020) - ive added a neck piece so you can connect it to the cowl
