This asset is a volumetric model of a Engine TEN-K in Gaussian Splatting PLY format. The TEN-K is an inline-4 engine with a displacement of 2,100 cc—specs that might even lead one to underestimate it compared to similar engines found on the road today. However, Boreham has prioritized purity and character above all else; consequently, the engine is naturally aspirated, eschewing the easy tricks for boosting power common today—namely forced induction or electrification. This naturally aspirated 2.1-liter engine is capable of producing a maximum output of 330 hp and revving up to 10,000 rpm, thereby offering the driver a pure race-car-style driving experience.
Model Specifications:Format: PLY 3DGS Standard | Gaussians: ∼3M | Size: ∼48 MB | Clean, no floaters.
3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) is a next-generation Radiance Field. Unlike a traditional mesh, the scene is composed of anisotropic Gaussians with Spherical Harmonics. It allows real-world captures with reflections and transparencies and instant visualization. It delivers realistic, detailed scenes with fast rendering, which is why it is used in architecture, video games, virtual reality, simulation, and real-world environment reconstruction.
EXTRA COMPATIBILITY: V-Ray (in 3ds Max / other DCCs): Starting from recent versions like V-Ray 7, it natively supports loading and rendering Gaussian Splat files integrated with ray tracing. SuperSplat, PlayCanvas, Unity, Unreal Engine, SplatViz, Three.js, Blender Addon, Babylon.js , among others.
