DESCRIPTION

The Bugatti W16 engine is an 8.0-liter (7,993 cc) powerplant with four turbochargers, designed and manufactured by the Volkswagen Group for the Bugatti brand from 2005 until July 2026, when production concluded with the Bugatti Mistral.

This asset is a volumetric model of a Bugatti W16 engine in Gaussian Splatting PLY format.

3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) is a next-generation Radiance Field. Unlike a traditional mesh, the scene is composed of anisotropic Gaussians with Spherical Harmonics. It allows real-world captures with reflections and transparencies and instant visualization. It delivers realistic, detailed scenes with fast rendering, which is why it is used in architecture, video games, virtual reality, simulation, and real-world environment reconstruction.

EXTRA COMPATIBILITY: V-Ray (in 3ds Max / other DCCs): Starting from recent versions like V-Ray 7, it natively supports loading and rendering Gaussian Splat files integrated with ray tracing. SuperSplat, PlayCanvas, Unity, Unreal Engine, SplatViz, Three.js, Blender, Babylon.js , among others.
