DESCRIPTION

This pack includes:

  • X-15 rocket aircraft: Tested for the first time in 1959 became the first vehicle to bring a human above 100km. This model is rigged with the real landing gear deployment mechanism, roll and pitch aleron movement and airbreak. (WARNING: To make the deployment of the landing gear you need to remove the lower tail because the real aircraft worked like that).
  • Vostok 1: Launched in 1961, the mission sent the first human to orbit. Includes the deployment of the Vostok Spacecraft.
  • Mercury-Redstone 3: Launched in 1961, the mission sent an american astronaut to space for the first time. Is rigged with the deployment of the small telescope incorporated in the capsule.
  • Mercury-Atlas 6: Launched in 1962, it launched the first american astronaut to orbit. This includes a very similar copy of the Mercury-Redstone 3 capsule.
  • Voskhod 2: Launched in 1965, first time a human performs a spacewalk. Includes the deployment of the spacecraft which is very similar to Vostok 1.
  • Gemini-Titan: This program sent the first 2-human space missions and performed the first docking and rendezvous. This is the only model that is not rigged.
  • Saturn IB: Part of the Apollo program, performed the first tests of the program and also sent humans to the Skylab space station. This model includes the deployment of the fairing and the deployment of the antenna in the Command Module.
  • Saturn V: This rocket sent the first humans to the moon in 1969 to 1972. It includes the deployment of the Lunar Module, Command Module and fairing .
  • Soyuz 7K-OK: First version of the Soyuz, rocket that is still active and is the actual main and only manned rocket of Russia. Includes the animation of the deployment fo the spacecraft and escape system.

All rockets are divided in stages and can be separated easily and is in real scale with accurate representation. Each rocket has its correspondent spacecraft and you can deploy them moving the drivers in the z axis (except for the pitch and roll movement of the X-15). The vehicles from X-15 to Voskhod 2 are in 8 face resolution, from Gemini-Titan to Soyuz are in 10 faces resolution.

If you need any help with the models or feel like there is something wrong or missing do not be afraid to contact me and I will try to fix it as soon as possible.

I will be also making a video showcasing all the animations of the vehicles in this pack.

In the future I will continue making more low poly spaceflight packs, including those of astronauts, unmanned rockets and Space Station, so watch out for those!

Special thanks to CardZ and The Chatterbox Cat for helping me finding references for the rockets and giving me tips for Blender!
