Adrenaline, (formula: C9H13NO3; CAS: 51-43-4; systematic name: (R)-4-(1-Hydroxy-2-(methylamino)ethyl)benzene-1,2-diol) is a hormone, neurotransmitter, and medication. It is produced naturally in the body and plays an important role in the fight-or-flight response, increasing blood flow to muscles, output of the heart, pupil dilation response, and blood sugar level.
