India Akash surface-to-air interceptor missile
India's Akash defense system surface to air missile was developed as part of DRDO's Integrated Guided Missile development Program. The Akash uses a solid propellant motor to travel at speeds up to Mach 3.5 and a range of 30km.It uses a radio proximity fuze to detonate either a 60 kg Fragmentation or Nuclear warhea against an incoming threat.
