DRDO developed three staged missile represent India's first successful launch of a Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM). On April 19, 2012, the Agni-V carried a mock warhead at a range over 5000km. The missile also paves the way for submarine launched and MIRV capable developments and testing.
