this 3d model is a traditional Malay house located in Perak,Malaysia, this house is known as Rumah Limas Potong Perak because of its roof. the roof is a hip roof with a combination of gable roof in the middle creating a unique style and identity of malay houses. this house is like an extention to the rumah tiang 12. every malay houses will start built in a grid form. starting with 6 poles or tiang 6 to 12 poles ,tiang 12 and when the family is getting bigger the house will expand and can be up to 24 poles or tiang 24 .it is usually built for middle class family and can be seen across the Malaysia peninsular. the structure is fully using a solid wood specifically the Cengal timber while the other parts use meranti timber. the 3d model was made and create in sketchup and rendered using enscape version 3.1. the outcome may vary depends on the software you are using. it is scaled 1:1 following the real dimension.
