Naruto Uzumaki is the titular main protagonist of the manga/anime series Naruto and the titular overarching protagonist of its sequel series Boruto. He is a shinobi of Konohagakure (the Village Hidden in the Leaves) and a member of Team 7, alongside Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno.

He is the son of Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki, the husband of Hinata Hyūga, the father of Boruto and Himawari Uzumaki, and the adoptive father of Kawaki.

As a young child, Naruto lived his early childhood as an outcast when he was turned into the jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails at birth, receiving negligence and hatred from his fellow villagers. Nonetheless, he worked his way through many obstacles and achievements in hopes of achieving his dream of becoming Hokage. Having done so much for many, he was recognized across the world as a hero and was eventually able to become the Seventh Hokage of Konohagakure, until he, along with Hinata, got sealed in the Daikokuten by Kawaki and framed his son Boruto for a crime he didn't commit.

He is voiced by Junko Takeuchi in the Japanese version of the anime, who also voiced R. Mika in the Street Fighter series and Gumball Watterson in The Amazing World of Gumball, Maile Flanagan in the English version, and Kathryn Feller in the English version of Rock Lee and his Ninja Pals.
