Description

Manisa Palace, today's Manisa Sehzadeler, is the palace used as the administrative center of the Saruhan Sanjak (Manisa) in the Ottoman Empire and where the Ottoman princes served as sanjak governors.

Manisa Palace, Sultan II. It was built during the reign of Murat. The palace, which was completed in 1403, was expanded and new buildings were added during the reign of Mehmet II [1]. When the education of the princes outside Istanbul was prohibited after Sultan Mehmed III, Manisa Palace was abandoned to its fate and it was tried to keep it standing with minor repairs until the 18th century. During the Manisa Fire, the palace was destroyed by wooden timber. parts were completely burned.
