Description

The Ocean Stingray Pack comes with a Stingray and a Manta Ray, each with their own procedural spline animation system that bends and rolls, swims and glides naturally along your chosen path. Both the Stingray and Manta Ray come with their respecitve Max, 3DS, FBX & OBJ & Texture Files for editing in external applications. You can download a free packaged demonstration at http://bit.ly/oceanstingraypackdemo

The UE4 animation system allows you to control numerous settings, such as:

  • Movement speeds for slow and fast modes
  • Animation Play rates for slow and fast
  • Timing for how long to swim slow and fast
  • Randomness multiplier of timing
  • Acceleration speed
  • Deceleration speed
  • Roll speed
  • Roll intensity
  • Mesh Scale
  • Starting Distance
  • Toggle dynamic speed or maintain a constant speed.
  • Constant speed Play Rate, Movement Speed, & Animation Intensity

Physics assets have been carefully created for ragdoll effects. Additionally, a demo scene has been included with Underwater PostProcess Settings, Caustic Lighting, Fog, & Depth of Field, along with numerous Stingrays & Manta Rays; demonstrating the animation systems.

--- STINGRAY --- This Stingray comes fully rigged and animated - with one swimming animation. You can easily modify it to turn left or right with the tail bones. It is perfect of game engines, and is used in the Ocean Stingray Pack with Unreal Engine. It has two textures, and a tilable normal map, and is lightmapped.

The texture sizes are: Diffuse 1: 4096x2048 Diffuse 2: 4096x2048 Tiled Normal Map: 512x512

--- MANTA RAY --- The Manta Ray comes with two diffuse texture variations, a normal map and a specular mask. The model includes 3 Levels of Detail, and is suitable for videogames and film. It comes lightmapped. The animation includes 1 swimming animation, and an idle animation. You can see the swimming animation in the Marmoset example above.

Triangle counts of each LOD Level are: LOD0 = 5388 LOD1 = 2960 LOD2 = 926

Texture resolutions are: MantaRay_Dif.jpg = 2048x2048 MantaRay_Dif_B.jpg = 2048x2048 MantaRay_Norm.jpg = 2048x2048 MantaRay_Spec.jpg = 1024x1024
