This is a digital 3D printable model of Thor’s hammer known as Mjolnir.

The download contains pieces of the model ready to be 3D printed on a 200 mm print bed and files that are not cut into smaller pieces. All cut parts are placed on the print bed as we would print them to save you time.

The download contains three versions of the model. First version, which is clear without any cracks, second that has only structural cracks and third version, that is meant to be used with inside light source to achieve glowing effect.

SIZE

At 100% scale the dimensions of the hammer are:

• Length approx. 383 mm
• Width approx. 217 mm
• Height approx. 135 mm

Also you can scale the model as you wish but we can’t guarantee that at a much smaller size the model will print well.

3D PRINTING SETTINGS

We use these settings for most of our prints:

• Layer height 0.2 mm
• Infill 15%
• Supports 45°

For parts that are tall but have a small base, we use a 10 mm brim for better bed adhesion.

We try to make the models in a way that uses as little support material as possible.

This model is meant to be post-processed after printing. This can be gluing, sanding, painting, etc.Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

To achieve the same look as we did, print V3 - glowing cracks. This version is the best for inserting the lights and masking out the cracks when painting. Use clear blue filament for 3D printing the hammerhead. Insert LED lights of your choice powered by a power bank inside the hammerhead. To access it for switching on and off, use the disc. The disc has space for inserting magnets (1cm wide, 5mm high) for easy access to the electronics.
