• The Mandalorian uses a new type of technology that allows filmmakers to use virtual sets and real-time rendering to give actors the feeling that they are shooting on location.

• Grogu, also known as Mini Yoda or Baby Yoda, is filmed primarily in puppet form. According to the producers, CGI is rarely used and, when necessary, they insist that the animation obeys the same physical laws as it would if it were a puppet.

• By the way, Grogu's main puppet, the one used for close-ups, costs 5 million dollars.
