Mclaren lamp for F1 fans

A very simple and compact Mclaren lamp for decoration.

The box and the lid are printed seperatly and are held together with magnets. The lid wont fall out even without them but it adds a nice touch .

Feel free to change the logo design for your personal F1 team you support and share the designs and makes :)

The model has 2 holes for magnets 6.3mm in radius and 1.5mm in height For the lighting I used 2 12V led lights but a LED strip would probably work the best.

Tips for printing the lid:-If you cant change colors mid print, the lid should be printed the orange part first, then print the black around it. I provided a project for easier use:

1. import the project.
2. delete the black parts and print only the orange logo
3. undo and delete the orange part and print the black ones while not moving the orange part from your printer bed.

I provided also a 3MF file for the dual extruder and color changing printers. There are also seperate parts of the lid if needed.

*Disclamer – Be careful to use higher temperature materials if you are using lighting that emits a lot of heat. Speaking from past experience…
