The Shuriken of Omens is based on the Sword of Omens, a powerful and iconic weapon featured in the Thundercats animated series (original and reboot). The sword has been recreated many times, so I tried to redesign the sword, creating a new iconic weapon. The shuriken is designed for easy printing and assembly. The top and bottom caps hold it together, but also feature the 2 states of the Eye of Thundera (closed/Cat's eye). A stand, featuring the cat's eye is also included for the shuriken.

The shuriken includes the original and version 2. V2 is provided as a zipped file, including updated topology, new display stand options, and a revised clasp core to hold the body together.

Some parts have elevated sections, which can't be printed directly on the print bed. In such cases, supports are necessary. For the cleanest results, for parts needing them, I used supports with the support roof enabled @ 100% density. If property calibrated, you should be able to peal or pop part right off, with fewer artifacts. Also, it easier separate from the roof than from direct supports. In this case, the distance between model and roof was a bit too high, but something like 0.1 or 0.15 seems to work quite well. My One Piece shuriken turned out even better.

The blades of the shuriken can fold. Assemble with blades folded to achieve proper alignment and easier assemble.

1. Thread the bottom cap through the top body.
2. Slide the gear over the threaded end of the cap.
3. With each in folded position, slide blades over the pivots of the top body.
4. Place the bottom body over the gear, blades, and threaded cap.
5. Thread the remaining cap through the bottom body and screw into the bottom cap.(Not so tight that it fractures the cap; nor so tight that it interferes with blade movement)

For vesrion 2, twist the connected eye counter clockwise to lock parts in place.
