DESCRIPTION

**3D model description**This is a 3D Scanning Marker Pyramid With Embedded Magnet

A mushroom is better than a basic pyramid because when placed on a flat surface, you can tilt your scanner parallel to the ground plane and not lose track.

Back story: I started to do free-lance 3D scanning, it was great at first. But I quickly faced a daunting challenge: large objects like cars made my scanning markers count plummet. Frustrated by unsuitable online solutions, I forged my path. With a mix of ingenuity and determination, I crafted a new approach, turning my scanning saga into an epic quest for digital perfection!

I am not the first one to come up with this idea, I only make it in a way that would fit my usage. Thank you for reading, please leave a 5-star review if this is helpful to you

**3D printing settings**There is a hole at the bottom of this part to insert a magnet. The hole has a diameter of 5.2 mm and a height of 3mm.

From my testing, you will need double-sided tape or glue to keep secure the magnet in place

FDM print, all material will worklayer height 0.1no support

Kind regards,Giao Pham
