In 2016, my friend bought a used board game -- I can't remember what it was called, but it had a piece that was of some significance that was missing -- they could have used any old marker and I think they were using a piece of cardboard with the word MAELSTROM written on it.

Having no idea what the piece was actually supposed to look like, I designed this piece as a stylized replacement.
