Unlike standard credits, these tokens circulated in the shadow economy, high-stakes Sabacc tables, private docking bay deals, and backroom negotiations where trust mattered more than Imperial oversight. The faint glow of the Cerulean core became a quiet signal: the bearer dealt in serious business. Rumour has it the chips were calibrated to subtly react to electromagnetic fluctuations at the table, just enough to make superstitious players swear they could “feel” a good hand coming.
