The set contains two types of elastic TPU breathing masks. It is possible to clamp any flat filter material with the different filter holder caps to the mask. Each mask has a lip sealing towards the face side and a exhaust valve which releases humidity.

The masks where printed with a standard 3D Printer (see picture above) and TPU material. I used a 0,4mm / 0,6mm / and finally 0,8mm nozzle which gave me the best results. Also I had to modify some print parameters for TPU like the filament flow rate which was set to 120%.

Scalability of the masks: It is possible to scale the masks for a better fit. Dont forget to scale filter holder and valve with the same amount.

Washing: It is possible to put the TPU masks in boiling hot water or the dishwasher to desinfect them.

To seal the prints i used some layers of spray paint or better filler glue. You can check the sealing of the mask as well as the function of the valve if you put plastic foil instead of the filtermaterial. Also you can make a smoke test to see open spots.

The light version is easyer to print, for the heavy version support may be needed.
