I modeled this tall apartment house after the famous Brewster Wheeler Housing Project in Detroit Michigan Near downtown. I understand this is the year these tall buildings along with some townhouses will be demolished by the city but I liked the designs so I modeled it. This is the tallest building in Paulwall standing at 15 stories in counting! If you are wondering about the first floor, it is sunken into the ground by a few feet. The vestibule has a few steps leading downward. No apartments on the first floor, just the second and so on up. Turn the roof layer off to see the top floor. 8 apartments, a trash room, mechanical room (empty), mail chute, stairs, and an elevator shaft. Each house has 2 small bedrooms, walk-in pantry, one bathroom, and so on. I modeled this old house using whatever photos I could find online as well as watching the videos about it. Diana Ross and the Supremes lived here for a little while. It was the first subsidized house in America for African Americans. Completed in 1952. I hope you enjoy this old house and please rate. Though the actual thing exists in Detroit, you may feel free to put it into your inner city. You can remove the apartments and make it a background object if you like :)
