Generic Smartphone

Generic Smartphone Free 3D model

Description

I noticed there are a lot of phones up for grabs here, but none were suited to what I usually do - NPR. This is a generic smartphone with a traditional physical home button. It's low-poly and looks great at close-up - just see the preview video. This is because it uses procedural textures for the glass as well as the body - zero loss of detail in the Blend file!

Blend Features:

  • UV unwrapped screen
  • NPR (non-photorealistic shading) for Eevee, but the textures can be used with Cycles' built-in toon shaders as well.
  • High gloss finish
  • Low-poly model
  • Production tested

OBJ, FBX & DAE - Model with materials assigned - gloss and textures are open to your interpretation since it's all procedural.

Some example uses:

  • Prop for a character talking on the phone, throwing a phone, getting frustrated with a phone, etc.
  • To demonstrate your new app
  • To illustrate how you can use the phone physically for a specific purpose, such as recording sound or shooting proper video.
  • Educational material talking about phone use in general
  • Display piece in a store window

Be flashin' fancy in your next NPR animation!

Create your own take on these materials and stand-out!
