changing height of the mesh when model been unwrapped

once a model is built in 3ds max. The unwrap on the model is completed, I notice the model ive created is just slightlly smaller in height than model should be ,,, how can edit the height of the model without stretching the uvw. The following possible in 3ds max ...( seen blender has this function(

In the editable/edit poly, you can find 'preserve uv' under 'edit geometry' tab.
