Boost credits have a cost! WTF

Discussion started by CGPitbull

Boost credits have a cost, but CGTrader does not tell you the real cost, seeing that I am short of money I wanted to find out the cause, asking ChatGPT this was the answer:

Is It Worth It?
Yes — if:
Your model is of high quality
You’ve already seen some organic traffic
You want to gain momentum for a newly published model
You're competing in a crowded category
If you want, I can help analyze one of your model listings to check if it's ready for a boost.

Does it cost money?
Yes. After using up your free credits, you'll need to purchase additional boost credits to continue promoting your models The exact cost structure (credits required per day of boost, or price per credit) isn’t publicly detailed, so you might want to check your dashboard under the Promote or Boost Credits section to view current pricing options.

If your account had at least one published model as of June 3, 2025, you were automatically allocated free boost credits, based on your prior earnings level These credits appear in your dashboard and can be used to promote eligible models without charge until they run out.

In summary:
Boost costs credits—first from your free allocation, then purchased.
Free credits were granted to users with models active as of June 3, 2025.
Additional credits can be bought directly from the Promote interface.
Use boosts strategically by targeting strong models and tracking keyword effectiveness.

And where is the information detailing the cost of these credits? cannot find this "Promote or Boost Credits section" I can't find this information anywhere; it's truly outrageous!

It's just confusing. Where does it say exactly how this "service" works? Where does it say the cost? The little I understood is that based on the sales and notoriety of an account you get "credits." At the very least, they should inform you of the cost in $ for the credits: 50 credits = "X" money... It's fraudulent, at best. This platform had become the best platform, but it's increasingly looking like a mafia website. That's my point of view.
