Cura gcode file loads center of model to upper left corner of XYZPrint printing software

Discussion started by shaunmontg

Hi,

I am new to 3D printing. I am using Cura for slicing and XYZPrint to send prints to my Da Vinci Pro jr 1.0.

I'm having an issue that someone might be able to help. I can slice my object in Cura 4.2.1 and save to a gCode file but when I load the file into XYZPrint 1.4.0, the model winds up in the upper right hand corner. I assume this is the 0,0 point. Unfortunately, this leaves half the model off on the right side and half off the upper side. So that three quarters is not in the printing area as shown by xyzPrint.

Is there something I can do to set either Cura or XYZPrint to get the model in the center to print?

Thanks
