Every clockmaker knows, timeis timeless, just like a broken watch. This time, watchdesigner Igor Dzukovski shares his wisdom with us and we can't help but wonder - could you think of more unique inspirational figures in your life?

Can you tell us a little about yourself and how you got into the 3D industry?

My name is Igor Dzukovski. I’m 25 years old industrial designer from Belgrade, Serbia. In 2014 I’ve finished the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade - industrial design section.

hat are the most important characteristics to become a recognized artist according to you?

You constantly need to explore new things, to give yourself new challenges. Stay updated and think forward.

What research methods do you have?

I research mainly via internet, but when it’s a complicated thing, fine detailing or narrow fielded thing - I go to some stores.

What tool would you consider indispensable for your work?

My Faber Castell penciland my Moleskine sketchbook/ notebook.

How would you best describe your projects in three words?

Simple, thoughtful, easy-to-use.

What/who are your influences in life?

That’s a bit difficult question! Let’s say Luigi Colani, Ayrton Senna and my dad.

How do you take a break from work? What are your hobbies?

In my free time, I like to do some traditional ID renderings or relax with a nice book. I also like to play guitar, ride my bicycle, rent a kart or just simply go outside.

Are there any future projects you can tell us about?

I’m constantly working on something new. Right now, I’m working on three lamps, one bicycle, pair of sneakers and one watch.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Hopefully in Switzerland in watch industry. I’m a passionate watch designer.
