This model is another famouse model of the Gewehr 98 rifle, specifically the Spanish version developed and derived from thenOttoman design. While keeping much of thesame profile, this variant took in notable changes and refinements to its components such as the change in sights, stock, and bolt.

The rifle saw extensive use during the Spanish–American War and has become an intricate part of Spains military history, as well as a true testament to the wide international adoption and influence of the Mauser system.

This 3D model was created via a commission from a Reenactment group that focuses on the Spanish Civil War. Its reconstruction is intended for visualization, display, and educational purposes. It is a non-functional replica, perfect for reference or display oriented projects such as that of a collection or impression.

The files are prepared for clean import into most slicers. Note that the files are not precut to fit any printer and have to be edited in programs such as Meshmixer to fit whichever printer you are using.
