This model is my iterration of the Hanyang Type 88, a Chinese produced variant of the German G88, manufactured during the Chinese Warlord Era. The rifle remained in service for several decades and saw continued use all the way up to the Korean War, making it probably one of the longest serving rifles in chinese military history.
While the original Komissionsgewehr 88 was considered problematic in German service due to its complexity, the Chinese brought about a number of changes, including modifications to the barrel, barrel shroud, and sights. These changes resulted in a rifle that was nearly perfect for the chinese.
As always, this model is intended for visualization, display, and educational purposes only. It is not a fully functional prop, nor completely accurate dimesionally/it cannot be used to replace real world parts.
If any issues with the model files come up, feel free to let me know and I will do my best to take care of them!
