DESCRIPTION

This 16-inch on-center stud alignment tool is designed to help accurately position and align wall studs during residential framing projects. The tool references the standard 16″ OC spacing used in most North American construction and is sized to match the actual dimensions of standard 2×4 and 2×6 studs.

By maintaining consistent spacing and parallel alignment, the tool helps reduce layout errors, improves framing accuracy, and speeds up stud installation. The open slot design allows for minor stud variation and bow while keeping the overall layout true. It is ideal for use in DIY builds, remodels, sheds, garages, and general residential construction.

PLA+ – acceptable for indoor use only

Avoid standard PLA if this will be used on a job site (heat + impact).

0.28 mm (stronger layer bonding than 0.2)

Use 0.32 mm if your printer handles it well

5–6 walls

Wall thickness ≈ 2.0–2.4 mm

Walls matter more than infill for strength.
