SpaceX Starship HLS Lunar Lander Adjustable Human Landing System

SpaceX Starship HLS Lunar Lander Adjustable Human Landing System 3D print model

Description

This is a detailed model of the newest iteration of the Starship Lunar Lander HLS. The HLS is a collaboration between SpaceX and NASA with the purpose of bringing humans back to the Moon and eventually Mars. The SpaceX Starship is the most powerful rocket ever created, and is currently in the testing phase before crewed flights will occur. The rocket features deployable solar arrays, and I hope to add the elevator that will bring the astronauts to the surface of the moon to the model in the future.

This model features an easy to assemble design with working hinges on the upper body of the rocket that can be used to open and close the solar array doors to add or remove the deployable solar arrays.

This model is for 3d printing and can be easily rescaled to any size. The included STL files can be printed with minimal supports and require little cleanup.

The model is clean and well-designed for 3D printing, but I was disappointed to find it includes no textures or decals, despite the images implying otherwise. I assumed the NASA decal and textures/materials shown in the images were included or replicable, but the download was STL-only. If you're looking for a 3D print model, this is a solid option, but buyers should be aware that the listing images do not reflect what comes in the package.
