About the Lathe

• The lathe is powered by a 1 HP Ac Motor with 3500 RPM. with such a large motor you get almost constant RPM even when cutting so you have great surface finish on parts and you can also get very precise threads.

• X-Axis is Powered by Nema 23 stepper motor with 4NM of Torque. • X-Axis is driven by 16mm Ballscrew. • X-Axis Travel is 8 Inches.

• Y-Axis is Powered by Nema 23 stepper motor with 4NM of Torque. • Y-Axis is driven by 16mm Ballscrew. • Y-Axis Travel is 13 Inches.

• Tools Post has standard configuration you can high speed tools 10 mm x 10 mm or 12 mm x 12mm.

• We have custom designed Tail stock that is easy to make and is more Accurate at drilling and centering than conventional lathe tail stocks. • Tail stock Accepts M3 Morse Taper.
